Ha frequentato l’Università delle Arti di Philadelphia. Dopo gli esordi in serie televisive USA, ha debuttato al cinema nel film “Gli anni dei ricordi” (1995) accanto a Wynona Rider con cui è tornato a lavorare in “Ragazze interrotte” (1999). E’ un grande sportivo e suona con il fratello in una band chiamata “30 Seconds to Mars”.
